Excellent variety for microgreens - harvest within 14 days. Light green and burgundy leaves will add colour to your dishes. Harvest young mild and delicate leaves for salads or harvest mature leaves to cook in the fall when the cool weather sweetens them up. Very winter hardy and can be grown throughout the winter in a caterpillar tunnel. Thin plants 20-30 cm (8 to 12in) apart in the rows. When harvested in the heat of the summer they will have a typical mustard flavour however if cooked this flavour will become less spicy. This is a Japanese variety. Can be used for pickled mustard greens. Slow to bolt.
